Optek Music Systems, Inc. was founded in 1989 by J. Rusty Shaffer, current CEO, and inventor of the Fretlight/B> Guitar. Rusty had a vision back then to change the way people learned to play guitar. That vision is alive today and is echoed by tens of thousands of satisified customers.
