SHIPPING: Buyer pays USPS shipping and Delivery Confirmation.
I combine shipping. I am fair with combined shipping. If an extra item doesn't add much weight I usually don't charge extra. However, I reserve the right to require extra services such as insurance, delivery confirmation at my discretion. Mainly, this will apply to pricier and fragile items.
PAYMENT: Online electronic credit card transactions as required by Ebay policy. Buyers who are uncomfortable with this payment method may solicit the seller to request a paper payment method such as check or money order as stated in Ebay workshop: Getting Ready for Paperless Payments Aug 27 2008.
HANDLING TIME: I do not ship daily. I may not be able to ship items out the day you pay me. However, I try to ship items within 7 days of purchase.
SHIPPING TIME: Priority mail is a 2-3 day service from USPS (not guaranteed). I've had good luck with it . It's a bit more expensive but often reliable.
First Class Parcel post is less expensive than priority mail from USPS but can take a week or more to arrive.
Media Rate is an affordable service from USPS for (Record Lp, CD, Book, Dvd) , however it can take a week or more to get to you.
SHIPPING UPGRADE: I prefer to send everything out USPS Priority Mail. Sometimes it's a bit more pricey but usually gets items to you quick. You may request Priority Mail shipping.
FEEDBACK: I hope you are happy with the items and my service. After I know you are happy and have given me feedback I will return positive feedback to you.
PAYMENT DEADLINE: Send payment within 2 weeks.
LATE PAYMENTS: After 2 weesk of no payment, you will be sent an unpaid item alert. It is not meant to be confrontational. It is meant as a payment reminder.
If payment isn't received within a week of the notice I will close the dispute and an unpaid strike will be given.
I may offer that we mutually agree to cancel the transaction with no penalty. Sometimes this is the best route when I see that we will not come to an agreement.
RETURNS: I do not take returns unless I have grossly misrepresented the item. I will not take returns on recordable media.
Items broken in the mail will be dealt with by the insurance bought by the customer. Postal insurance claims require a published book value of what the item is worth. Price of the auction is not a valid book value.

MY RECORD GRADING
My own grading. I feel Goldmine grading is too ridgid and highly abused. Record grading is always subjective. I think my grading is fair.
Near Mint = Perfect, no obvious flaws.
VG++ = Super Excellent condition, ALMOST perfect, yet I see just the slightest sign of wear. A bumped corner on the jacket, or a slight one inch crease. Record may have one or two light paper skuff marks.
VG+ = Excellent condtion, Cover will have no seam splits, may have some rubbing or foxing on the seams, may have some slight one inch creases here and there. Perhaps a little ring wear. Record will have no major surface marks, though may have a few light paper skuff marks that will not affect play.
VG = nice condition. Cover will have smaller seam splits, may be nicely repaired with clear tape. Record will have some light surface marks. Still should look clean and shiny. Still looks like it should play nice.
VG- = shows wear. Cover will have seam splits, Record will have many suface marks, still looks like it could play nice.
Good = bad shape. I don't normally sell records I feel are in this condition. |
