Friends Bookstore
The Friends Bookstore is operated by The Friends of the Minneapolis Public Library, a private non-profit organization established in 1949. The Friends mission is to provide support to the Minneapolis Public Library and its patrons.
The Friends Bookstore opened in 1983 and stocks a floor to ceiling inventory that never runs dry. The steady stream of private donations and library discards are idyllic for our countless repeat customers who like our ever changing selection.
Our store is located in Central Library Marquette at 250 Marquette Avenue South in downtown Minneapolis. We are on the skyway level near the Library Popular Fiction and Children departments. Store phone number is 612-630-6177.
