Well I'm old, so there's a lot to say about me. I'll try to give you the Campbell's soup version. (condensed). My name is Sherry Kristoff. I live in Ohio. I've been a primitive folk artist for over 30 years. I worked my way up from doing school bazaars every weekend to being juried for well known shows in Ohio and other states with Country Peddler shows. Till we kinda settled in to just traveling to Massachusetts(cause we love it there and we love seafood!!) Sturbridge Host Hotel(July and Thanksgiving)-Orleans Summer Fair on Cape Cod,was the last summer I was able to go there. Some nice people who owned a store on Nantucket, called Nantucket Folkworks,(don't know if they're still there)bought a large quantity of my work. Also the Cinnamon Stick on Old King's Highway (Rt 6A) in E. Sandwich sold my work. We're no longer able to travel because my husband is a disabled fireman on oxygen 24/7 (very proud of him---not many can leave this life knowing they saved lives.) As for me, I have MS and an inoperable brain tumor and lots of other goodies that go with neuro problems. So I'm starting over again trying to get back my following on the internet(which we're trying to learn.)
I'm self taught on everything I do including rug hooking. I was known for the quality and originality of my work. It truly does come from the heart! ! There's thousands of items out there I've sold, so check and see if you have something signed "Sherry Kristoff." When I traveled my business name was "Sherry's Country Sampler."Since joining the internet world, I've changed to "From Sherry's Heart."
