Hi! My name is Patricia and I've lived in Southern California almost all my life until recently. My husband was relocated to San Antonio, Texas in September of 2007. We were very blessed to be able to sell our home at a great price in California and purchase a huge new home on ½ acre in Texas. (God had his hand on us through the whole move). Although I miss my family and friends terribly, I’m happy to say that we love it here. It is beautiful here and I just love the gorgeous blue sky with the big puffy white clouds. The night sky is truly like black velvet dotted with tiny bright diamonds. We live a little ways out in the country, but close enough to town and malls that we’re very comfortable. I’ve always heard that people in Texas were friendly, and it is absolutely true. Wonderful people, beautiful scenery and awesome food!
I met my husband when I was only 15 years old. We became high school sweethearts and married four years later. That was over 25 years ago, and we are still sweethearts. I could not have asked for a better, more loving husband or a more devoted father for our two children. We have a 20 year old daughter and a 18 year old son. I am truly so blessed in all that is important. We also have two big dogs we rescued from the pound many, many years ago. One is a German Shepherd mix and the other is a Rott mix. Both are sweet adorable dogs and follow us around like shadows.
I love to sew, paint, scrapbook, and decorate. I used to say there wasn’t enough time to do these things, but after the move, I’m finding there isn’t enough money! Because we bought a brand new house, any “extra” money goes to the basics: window treatments, landscaping, etc). Also, it’s not a cottage style home, so I’m learning to decorate all over again. Wish me luck!
Every once in a while you'll find one of my little creations, but mostly you'll find treasures made by others. I love working with these old linens and am constantly amazed at the talent and workmanship of our grand mothers. It's an art that is in danger of being lost and I am thrilled to be able to enjoy them for a little while before I pass them on to you.
My husband and I go shopping for treasures on most weekends and truly enjoy the time we spend together. I get so many compliments on my man who holds up a sweet pillowcase and shouts across the crowd, "Look at this cute kitty pillowcase, Honey!" He's my secret weapon when we go shopping and I always take him along. He just charms everyone he talks to; that's how we find so many great deals to pass along to you.
I want to say thank you to all of you who have made selling on eBay such a pleasure. I had no idea it would be so much work to sell, but it was an even bigger surprise to find how much fun it is. I've met so many sweet and wonderful people and can honestly say I've made many friends on eBay.
Thank you, again, for taking a moment to read about me. I'll update it every once in a while and post any notices that may be important (like vacations!). Have fun bidding and good luck!
