Bryan & Mendy McGee

We are a family of lampworkers. Bryan E. McGee (Dad) is a professional firefighter who works with boro on his days off. His signature pieces are dichroic Witch Balls and Mommy Vases. Bryan E.S. McGee (Son) makes boro trees, windchimes and wig-wag pendants. Mendy McGee has been a published craft designer specializing in crochet. She's been crocheting and designing for 35 years. In June 2006 she started glass beadmaking and works with Moretti, Vetrofond, Lauscha, ASK, CIM & Double Helix glass.

My husband chose the name ‘Frozen Liquid Art’ for our family business name because glass objects are made by heating glass to a liquid state, then shaping it and allowing it to ‘freeze’ to a solid state.
We are members of the glass art forums on Lampwork Etc. and Wet Canvas. We are also Self Representing Artists and our number is M-10.
