Victory Motorcycles, a division of Polaris Industries Inc., is supporting the Soldiers and families affected by the Ft. Hood tragedy. The Victory Kingpin 8-Ball and Victory Hammer S were custom designed by our Industrial Design Team – the Victory Kingpin 8-Ball painted in traditional olive drab and featuring markings reminiscent of past decades; the Victory Hammer S featuring a design scheme that reflects the modern military.
From the many letters and communications they receive it is clear that a significant number of Victory owners are current or former military personnel. Because of that, Victory Motorcycles proudly announced the Full Throttle Salute program in October that offers enlisted and former military men and women the opportunity to purchase a new Victory motorcycle at a reduced cost and allowed the company to say “Thank You” to the men and women of the Armed Forces.
In response to the tragic events at Fort Hood shortly following the announcement of the Full Throttle program, the Victory team immediately decided to auction off these two motorcycles and donate the proceeds – 100% – to benefit the soldiers and families directly affected by the events of that horrible day.
The auction will open for bidding on May 22, 2010 and will close — appropriately — on Memorial Day, 2010. Please check back for more information and a chance to win one of these great bikes.
