All about me? Sounds like I am stuck up!

Where am I? Well, with a sunny sky all year long, no mosquitoes, a big pyramid downtown and no snow....you guessed it, I am in The City of Lights, Las Vegas Nevada! Of course, there is no gambling here! Just total honesty in the stuff I am selling :)....what a contrast to where I live! Yes, Las Vegas DOES actually have a SUBURBIA! I love it here and I am having "fun in the sun".

HOW TO SAVE YOURSELF MONEY!!!!

I hope I do not offend anyone who is truly confused about what to charge to ship, and I hope this helps you. In fact, there are sellers who are willing to negotiate their shipping, and I will buy from them! I have found I sell more and have more repeat customers when I charge actual shipping. People have no problem paying what you want for your items if your shipping is fair. I know I am that way! If you are from Canada, I will not check a box like a gift or whatever since that is not legal. Do not ask me to check a box to make it less for you tax wise. I always click merchandise.

Have you noticed that you will go to buy a top and see the shipping is over 5.00?? Let me let you in on a little SECRET...... false shipping charges can be altered using the shipping program that ebay has, in order to make it look like shipping is more than it is. Even a T-shirt that is a mens xl (I weighed my husband's T-shirt and it is 9 ounces or 2.49 to ship) will still be under 13 ounces. Now if the seller will only do priority, it would cost 4.60, and you have to respect that if they will not ship first class. This TRULY HURTS EBAYS reputation! For kicks, lets review the excuses of sellers:

1.) I DON'T HAVE A SCALE, SO I GUESS!

Personally, if a seller is too lazy to buy a scale (I bought mine in 2001 for under $20.00 and is was a tax write off! (YES I PAY TAXES on what I sell on ebay) I have had that same scale for 6 years, and I update the rates on the side on a post it note. (let's see at 19.99 over the last 6 years, that is $3.33 a year?!)

2.) I DON'T HAVE TIME TO WEIGH ALL THE ITEMS!

Even with over 400 items listed in my store, I weigh each item WITH the envelopes..... that I buy.... to save you money! TAKES ABOUT 15 SECONDS!! I had one seller tell me to ship a tiny top to me would be 5.35 first class...... UH FOLKS, THAT IS NOT EVEN A DENOMINATION FOR ANY FIRST CLASS! Just scroll down to any of my auctions and you will see the proper shipping for thick envelopes.

3.) Seller: "I CHARGE HANDLING BECAUSE OF THE GAS AND TIME IT TAKES TO DRIVE TO THE POST OFFICE!"

Again, you can go on the computer, and have the post office PICK UP your packages for FREE!!! There has to be at least one priority item, which is not that hard of a feat for power sellers. PLUS, YOU CAN PRINT POSTAGE OFF OF PAYPAL.....

4.) WHEN I TRY AND CHARGE ACTUAL POSTAGE, I ALWAYS GET OVERCHARGED ON PAYPAL OR THE POST OFFICE, THEN I LOOSE MONEY.

This is slightly understandable because the USPS changed their rates. Now a thick envelope (which is an option under the shipping calculator that gives you the correct shipping costs.... do not just click on "envelope") has a surcharge of .33. Also, when you print out postage on Paypal, there is a mandatory charge of .18 for tracking. Actually that is quite a deal! I will charge .18 over the actual shipping to cover that expense, and it is well worth it for the buyer to track their item! I have NO PROBLEM paying that small .18 for that reassurance!

People, this is a basic education that I hope will help you buyers. I cannot TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES I would not buy from a seller due to their shipping rates. WHY DO THEY DO IT....... This is a kicker....... EBAY WILL NOT CHARGE A PERCENTAGE ON SHIPPING. In other words, if I sold an item for $10.00 and shipping was 1.99, then I get charged the 5.25% for final fees from ebay on the $10.00, which comes to .53. NOW if I charge .99 buy it now, and $11.00 to ship (10.00 - .99 + 1.99= 11.00) then ebay only charges a .05 final fee!! That is dishonest and against Ebay's policies. I pride myself on honesty, so sorry, I cannot do that. So now you have a little more of an understanding. I will be happy to spend 19.99 on something if the shipping is correct, than to spend 10.00 and be charged 15.00 to ship an item. I just can't wrap my head around that.

LET ME POINT SOMETHING ELSE OUT..... There is a new feature that buyers can use to judge shipping, etc. Do me a BIG favor. If you are buying multiple items and I am waiting for you to finish to save you on shipping and several days go by, PLEASE DON'T give me lower marks on shipping time! I mean, DUH! Some have and I can tell because my "chart" is not 100% with shipping! I ship THE day if not THE DAY after I get paid by you! Not to rant, but I am sure you can understand why that would bother me! That chart means "how long did it take from WHEN YOU PAID UNTIL WHEN THE SELLER PUT IT IN THE MAIL!" You cannot fault a seller for delivery once it is in the post office's hands! Just look at the DATE on the postage.... how long did it take from when you paid until that package was stamped? I do not charge handling, so please do not give me low star for that. One more thing, if you are an INTERNATIONAL buyer, unless YOU BUY PRIORITY, first class international is going to take up to 3 weeks, and no seller should be judged by that! We do not control your country's delivery system.

WHY DO I ALWAYS LOSE AUCTIONS?

IF YOU BID ON AN ITEM THAT HAD THE STARTING BID AT 9.99, THEN ANOTHER EBAY MEMBER CAN EASILY BID 10.50 AND TAKE YOUR AUCTION, UNLESS YOU ARE THERE TO PROTECT IT. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I DON'T HAVE TIME TO PLAY GAMES! LOL! SO IF YOU WERE TO LOOK AT THE ITEM AND SAY TO YOURSELF, "SELF, I THINK I WOULD PAY UP TO $20.00 FOR THIS AUCTION" THEN GO AHEAD AND PUT $20.00 AS YOUR MAXIMUM BID! YOU MAY WONDER IF THAT MEANS THAT IS WHAT YOU WILL PAY FOR IT..... NO, (UNLESS THE OTHER BIDDER'S MAX IS 20.50) YOUR BID WILL THEN REFLECT THE HIGHEST BID IN ORDER FOR YOU TO WIN THE ITEM. HOW?

IF AN EBAY MEMBER HAD A MAXIMUM BID OF $15.00 ON THAT SAME AUCTION, (THOUGH YOU WILL SEE THE MINIMUM BID OF $9.99) AND YOU PUT IN 11.00, THEN THEY WOULD STILL BE IN THE LEAD SINCE THE COMPUTER WILL BID FOR THEM AND PUT THEIR BID AT $11.00). BACK TO THE BEGINNING: IF YOU PUT IN THAT YOU WOULD PAY A MAX OF $20.00, (REMEMBER THE OTHER GUY HAS A MAX OF $15.00, BUT YOU DON'T KNOW THAT) THEN WHEN YOU PUT YOUR BID IN, IT WOULD THEN BE YOURS AT $15.50. WHEN THE END OF THE AUCTION GETS NEAR, A MEMBER (WHO IS NOW LESS AWARE OF HOW THIS WORKS) WILL MAYBE BID 16.00, AND WILL NOT WIN THE ITEM. IT WOULD SHOW A BID OF 16.00 BUT IT WOULD BE YOURS STILL. IF THEY DECIDE THEY WOULD PAY UP TO 25.00, AND THEY ENTER THAT AS THEIR MAXIMUM BID, THEN THE COMPUTER WILL BY-PASS YOUR 20.00 AND IT WILL NOW BE THEIRS FOR 20.50 (NEXT INCREMENT UP FROM YOUR 20.00 MAX BID) IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, JUST EMAIL ME!

Why I am doing this? To bring you great stuff and try and remain a stay at home mom! I sell Limited Too sizes 6 7 8 10 12 14 16 18 & 20, purses, towels, shoes, baby doll tops, skimp dresses, leggings, bras, camis, sleepwear, swimsuits and socks. I sell sweat sets with Gymnast, Cheer, soccer, frog, koala, kitty, Basketball Hoops, the monkey, horse tops (I love horses), wiener dog stuff and I do NOT overcharge shipping! I sell Aeropostale at times as well as Old Navy, Gap, etc. The Gymboree items I sell currently in size 0-3, 3-6, 6-12, 12-24 tights, 12-18, 18-24, 2t, 3t, 3, 4t, 4, 5t, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 in the following lines: Boys: Play Ball, Frog Pond, Alaskan Adventure, High Altitude, uniform items. Girls: Cherry Baby, Cupcake Cutie, Holland Days, Ice Cream Social, Island Getaway, Mountain Cabin, Girl Detective, Prima Ballerina, Glamorous, Snow Princess, Sweet Heart, Tennis Match, Tres Chic Poodles, Tropical Garden, Tropical Fish Bowl, Glamour Kitty, and lots of socks, tights, hair accessories and shoes!

Condition of USED Clothing:

EXCELLENT

This means the item is new or the material is as fresh and bright. This is the BEST of the BEST and I don't always give a piece this level unless it is PERFECT!

VERY GOOD

This means that the item has been used GENTLY with a lot of life still left in it. Generally very little fading and no pilling. This would be SOME people's EXCELLENT, but I am VERY picky and I can GUARANTEE you, any VERY GOOD is still a quality item!

GOOD

This means that the item has slight wear, and may have a little fading, but sound and strong and still has life in it. The elastic will still be great and buttons will still be sound. (This level is something I would buy still and I am very particular!)

FAIR

This will generally mean there is moderate fading/pilling (will be noted) These types of items are usually listed as play. Generally there will be no holes or stains unless noted. I have VERY FEW of these types of listings, because I do NOT like selling fair clothing unless it is a popular brand that I know you would like for "stylish playing!"

NOTE: UNLESS I MAKE A SPECIFIC NOTATION....NONE OF MY CLOTHING WILL HAVE STAINS, HOLES, TIRED MATERIAL, OR WORN OUT ELASTIC!!! BID WITH CONFIDENCE!!
