I hope you will find my Store of interest.....Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Isabel and I am a busy mum of three beautiful children, a Boy, and two little princesses...... They keep me on my toes I can tell You! :0)

I started buying and selling on ebay just for fun and then decided that there was a market out there for the things I wanted to sell. That was in March 2005 and since then Funky Phils Store has expanded little and often and we are always looking at new ideas.

 Prior to this I was in a Management Role for A Personnel Company in London. I moved to Australia in March 2000. I have always been in a customer focused environment and decided that I would like to work for myself around my young family. My husband and I also have a Sales Merchandising and Auditing  business and our skills and experience together are a very valued part of making Funky Phils what it is today and we have lots of exciting ideas for the future.....so watch this space!

I do this because I enjoy it and I always put you my customers at the heart of the business. It fits in around a busy homelife and I can take time out if we need to.

Our Products

I source our products from many different directions and am always on the lookout for new ones! I keep our prices as low as I can as I want to sell you quality products at a good price......please remember I am not a big department store so cannot always compete with the big boys but we do our best!

There are many unusal things and many bargains to be had here in our Store...believe it or not sometimes we do make a loss....but thats the fun of ebay to me! Something is worth what the customers is prepared to pay, sometimes that works in our favour and sometimes not but again thats the fun of the auctions...you just never know, we have had lots of surprises in our time at Funky Phils....some good....some not so good but we take the rough with the smooth....it's all part of running a business and of course its all in the spirit of ebay! :0)

Terms and Conditions

We always have our Terms and Conditions of Sale listed, this is important so you know exactly what the score is....no nasty postage/handling surprises at the end!

If You are Interested in more than one item please contact me for postage costs as I am always happy to mix and match and always like to combine on postage to make it as cost effective for you as possible.

If you are unable to pay within the seven day time frame .....please do not panic.....we would just ask that you contact us so alternative arrangements can be made and if you are genuinely going to pay for the item you have nothing to worry about. If contact is not made woithin this period then an unpaid item will be filed via ebay. If we know you are going to pay late then there is no problem atall so please do not be offended we have a business to run and have to have some order for doing things! No action will be taken against you if we know payment is coming and if you keep us up to date with the situation. We are all only human afterall....but we do have to have this system in place. Again....communication is the key!

Postage & Payment

That brings me onto the next thing Postage. Many of our items at the moment are FREE Postage Australia wide and I always keep the International Postage to the absolute minimum.

We do not make money on postage however Funky Phils is a business, we do have overheads and it does cost us money to pack and ferry your items to the Post Office. You may pay 50 cents for the envelope or $2 for the postal tube but that has already been calculated in the postage rate we quote. Should you have any questions regarding this please don't hesitate to contact me and I will be delighted to help. I post almost daily to ensure you receive your items quickly once payment has cleared.

You will receive a despatch email so you know what stage your parcel is at. Please remember I have no control over postage time but I post when I say I post and I am very prompt so please be reasonable with your eta of your parcel....Australia is a VAST place!

We offer you various methods of payment, Bank deposit, Money Order, Cheque and Paypal.....whichever suits you

For International Buyers we Accept Paypal Only

We are always happy to combine Postage when cheaper for you, please note this goes on weight 

So please just ask for a combined postage price on the items you are interested in and I will be able to give you an exact cost prior to you commiting to buy.

If you purchase more than one item and use ebay checkout the postage is worked out for you but often incorrectly from my experience! So please if you purchase more than one item please wait for our invoice which will have the correct postage and handling on it and will save any adjustments afterwards.

Feedback

The next thing I would like to mention is Feedback. This is an important part of the ebay relationship. Unfortunately occasionally things do go wrong, sometimes through no direct fault of either buyer or seller. I strongly believe that communication holds the key and usually with good communication all problems can be got through...so please bear that in mind also as I will always do my utmost to assist in the event of things going wrong. We appreciate your feedback once the transaction is completed  and we will be delighted to do the very same for you

Insurance

All items go through our thorough quality control and are checked before being sent out,....in the unlikely event that an item is found to be damaged here  you will be contacted and the item not sent. All items are suitably packaged and Insurance is always recommended ....just in case .....as in the event of items being damaged in transit Funky Phil's will be unable to accept responsibility. Thankfully this does not happen very often! However when I make purchases on ebay I myself always go for the insurance as for a few extra dollars it gives you great piece of mind and It is security for both buyer and seller!

We are always happy to answer any questions....in the unlikely event that we don't get back to you before the end of auction please realise that it will be because we didn't receive your question on time.

Refunds

We hope that you will be delighted with your purchases, however we also offer a 14 day money back guarantee on items that arrive not as described. So if we have made an error in the listing and the item is not what you purchased of course, on receipt of the item your refund will be processed. This does not include items damaged in transit as without insurance this is out of our control. In the unlikely ecen that an insured item is lost/damamged in transit and an insurance claim is needed the customer claims from their end, so please keep the packing your parcel arrives in as it will have all the details required to make a claim. Please note Australia post do not refund their postage charge!

Larger Quantities/Special Orders

If you are interested in buying larger quantities of items please let us know as we are always happy to help if we can and for larger amounts we would probably be able to get you a better price. Please note some of these larger quantities would need to be especially ordered so  it could take time and secondly you would need to pay for your order so that we can get it from our supplier. Once your order is shipped to us it is thoroughly checked and then sent to you.

I am only human after all and everyone makes mistakes so lets just keep the lines of communication open without it being a big ordeal :0) and lets leave the threats sacasm and attitude to...well someone who might perhaps be interested.....some people just love a drama (grin! grin!)....can't please everyone in life whatever you do
