I am sorry for any delays in your orders- I am really trying to keep up... this year has test my family. I was hoping that things would settle down but now my husband needs to have surgury at the end of July on his knee... THAN MAYBE Things WILL finally settle down. I was a Licensed Family Child Care Provider in the state of Massachusetts for 6 years. Prior to that I worked at a LARGE CORPARATE center that most likely is in your home town- they are EVERY WHERE!!! I closed my FAMILY Child Care on November 30, 2006 to start a NEW chapter in my life... I would LIKE to focus on selling more Felt sets and GERM FREE FUNtastic covers more but it is just not as dependable as I need it to be... I am trying to be an STAY AT HOME MOM but it is just not possible yet- I did started working part time (just school hours) for a local lawyer helping with the paperwork involved in Real Estate Closings- one benifet of this position is that the office is 2 buildings away from my house!!!! It is a BIG switch from child care but so far I am LIKING IT!!! We will see if this is the right path.... I hope to improve on my sewing so that I can add more things to sell so I can be at home MORE than not- I really enjoy making these things and it allows me time to be with my own children!!!

ALL the sets I create I have actually USED with my own day care children AND with my own children!!! NOW that I do not have any day care children to "test" them out on- I will just have to rely on my own 9 yr olds opinion- WHICH he loves ALL the sets that I make!!!

ALL of my felt sets are READY TO USE- there is NO CUTTING involved AT ALL!!! All the sets come in a larger ziploc baggie with a label and some come with the story cards. Each piece is unique- I HAND CUT each piece and paint it MYSELF!!! These homemade felt sets that are a great addition to any Early Childhood program. I am always looking for different sets to create so please check out my store often!!! BY POPULAR demand I have NOW added a MAKE-IT-YOURSELF Felt Board Kit!!! My kit includes the FELT and the directions YOU will just need to purchase a "board" to go with the kit...

Making a Felt Board is SOOOOOO SIMPLE and cheap and you do not need to be creative AT ALL!!!! Here are some ideas on how to make them:

It depends on what size you want- for individual 8x10 size- you can get "painter's" mats- at a craft store (or section of walmart) usually about 3 for under $5- then get sticky back felt and just apply them onto the board- HINT you can get 2 pieces per board- so have a blue for water and a green for grass. ANOTHER smaller size could be a simple picture frame- what ever size you want- dispose of the glass and insert felt- I would suggest that you always go with darker colors- because EVEN though the kids wash thier hands alot it can get dirty quickly...

I also make GERM FREE Shopping cart covers and the Car Seat Strap covers. My mother and I make each covers as they are ordered!!! IF you need a RUSH please email us to let us know!!!
