Fyrestuff's Stuff


           I have collected verious collectibles & antiques for 40 years. At some point I started to specialize in fire collectibles and am pretty much buried in the stuff now. I no longer collect the bigger items as much as I once did and tend to focus on paper items and the more unusual small items. I have the collecting bug badly and am constantly starting new collections. I wish I could stop but I can't. I have restored many fire items and sometimes find I like doing that as much as discovering them. I have tested extinguishers from the 20's all the way up to the 70's and have had up to 25 gallons of Carbon Tetrachloride to dispose of in a single day. I am getting close to the point of changeing my focus away from the firefighting stuff but... maybe not..
