little bit about myself...
I was born and raised in Mexico City where I currently live.
Biology was always my favorite subject in school and thought
I'd end up pursuing a career in the field, but I majored
in Graphic Design and do mostly commercial art. I speak
fluent Spanish (of course), English and I am currently studying
French; I also like to think I can speak "feline"
but I am sure my cats would disagree... or maybe they just
don't want to listen.
LOVE to travel and experience new cultures. I am probably
the only person on Earth who doesn't like Coca-Cola, bacon
or whipped cream, and probably the only one who calls strawberry
yogurt with cereal a meal. I like the color blue, fresh
cherries, sunflowers and the Fall. And chasing everything
and everyone with a camera.

upon a time there was a new box set of Prismacolor pencils...
In
December of 2004 I drew a portrait of my tabby cat,
Frida, who unfortunately had to be put to sleep earlier
that year. I decided to put it up for auction on eBay
and it sold (to my suprise! hehe). I decided to try
it again. Did a few more portraits and listed them
here, soon enough I was drawing all day, every day
and getting requests for custom cat portraits. Three
years later I am still here, with a colored pencil
in my hand and a warm kitty on my lap ;)

I love cats. They are
a big part of my life and my work (as you have probably
noticed..). Definitely my favorite subject to draw.
All animals inspire me and I often include portraits
of wildlife in my listings. Eventually I will try
new mediums and subjects, maybe someday I'll be able
to draw a human... or an apple, but I think furry
critters will always be in my art.
