Hello and thanks so much for taking the time to visit this page.

You have probably noticed that our store features quite a variety of items - from vintage clothing to Jazz records to top-of-the-line diamonds and world art.

The story is fairly simple.... several years ago, some very special people involved in this store were diagnosed and have survived cancer. They are all doing well, but the desire to give back was great - which is why the e-bay store was founded.

The different sub-stores are run by different people in different parts of the country.

O.David's Jazz and Stuff is out of York, Pennsylvania. O. David's wife, Barbara is a modern day hero. She has survived colon, breast and ovarian cancer and has recently undergone chemo and radiation for a recurrence of breast cancer. O. David himself has taken to E-bay with a vengence and offers a wide array of goods  from music, to travel books to.... any item that Barbara will allow him to post on E-bay to help tidy up the house.  He is a retired teacher with a PHD in Philosophy and is self-taught as far as computer skills.  But, he is living proof that it is never to late to take on an e-bay store and do quite well. His joy is the personal letters and new friendships that he shares with his customers.

Barbies and Collectible Dolls - This is a collection from Claranelle Davis of Phoenix Arizona. After raising five boys, she decided to take up doll collecting and went a bit overboard. Claranelle is now widowed and in poor health, but has the spirit of a teenager. Please, when making an offer for a doll - be fair. Claranelle spent thousands on this collection and is a bit reluctant to part with some of her prize dolls, but she has decided it is time to sell.

Encore Vintage Clothing/Hollywood Boudoir - This is perhaps the most time-consuming sub-store in Galactic Lightworks. Debbie Winslow of Sedona, Arizona (also a breast cancer survivor) has been a life-long performer - dancer, actress and all that jazz.  Her goal is to ultimately build a web-site that deals with cancer survivor support and products, but for the time being - is quite thrilled to have an e-bay store and several other webstores.  Although she is involved with countless fundraising events, she plans on expanding her web presence in jewelry, vintage clothing and costumes as a way to raise funds for those who have not been as fortunate with their battle with cancer.

Native American Art - If you have ever visited Sedona, Arizona you will want to stop at the ArtMart and... oddly enough, the outdoor market in the beautiful Oak Creek Canyon next to Dairy Queen. Sedona is considered one of the most beautiful places in America, but for the Native American population - it can still be a difficult and expensive place to live. The artisans who have listed their wares with Galactic Lightworks do so at no charge, however - they have all graciously agreed to a percentage going to our cancer survivor causes.  The prices are comparable to 60 percent of the retail that these pieces sell for in Sedona.  We also have a website which features these great Artisans and if you ever visit Sedona, we will be more than happy to put you in touch with them in person. Kenny of Surprise... 

Kenny is the one that finds all of those unusual things that add to the diversity of the store. He has a bit of the country and hillbilly taste. In fact, he is still working on how to ship custom made log furniture from Wickenburg, AZ to the rest of the world.  Dedicated to raising money for survivor causes, Kenny is not long winded (unless you talk to him on the phone.) He is of the mentality "git 'er done."

Artisans From Around The World - There are so many talented and wonderful artist in the Southwest and around the country that don't have the desire to list on e-bay or don't have the computer savvy. We try to give them an opportunity to list through our store, the only thing asked in return is a donation to the cause if the item sells. And last.. but far from least is the one you will probably hear from and the one that keeps everything going...

Martha. Her main claim to fame is that she is the one that has the patience to learn how to list items, can write e-mails and generally tries to stay on top of the entire store. She is a freelance writer and actress with an extremely busy schedule, but she always manages to find the time to take care of the sales, the letters and any questions. If you have a question - chances are you will be dealing with Martha at some point in time. (Just a warning, she has a great sense of humor!)

Diamond Jim  - He is a new addition to our coalition of sellers. A retired jewelry store owner, his own wife has recently passed from cancer. Although he has been a retail jeweler for over fifty years, the e-bay format is new to him.  He is enthused and looking forward to bringing wonderful prices to a world-wide market.
