About G and R Music and Records

The owner of this collection owned a popular record store in Denver in the 1970s and 80s until their doors closed in 1983. He is now offering to the public for the first time this private collection of rare and collectible vinyl records and memorabilia. Many have been in this collection since the mid-1960s. I am working with the owner as selling agent for ebay. The records are being sorted in alphabetical order and new postings will occur regularly. If you have a particular request please contact my e-mail and we will check on it as quickly as possible. We may be new to ebay, but not new to the record business. Our goal is to see new and satisfied owners of this unique collection.

Grading of Records

All records are visually graded using generally accepted practices  and descriptions, for example, Goldmine Guide, internet, etc.  A large percentage of this collection are records that have never been played, and many are “dare we say”  MINT. 

Shipping

All listings are quoted with a flat rate for USPS Priority mail for single record purchases. Add $1.00 for each additional record.  Any other arrangements will be at the discretion of the buyer and will be calculated as an adjustment to the quoted rate.

Insurance is not included but available at your request. Current rates are $0.01 to $50-$1.65, $50.01 to $100-$2.05, $100.01 to $200-$2.45, $200.01 to $300-$4.60, $300.01 to $400-$5.50, $400.01 to $500-$6.40. Add $0.90 for each additional $100.00 of declared value. I have heard that these rates could change in the spring of 2008.

At this time any international shipments will be calculated on a per transaction basis. A small handling fee is quoted in the listings.
