After signing up at eBay, I decided to change my ID, even though I had thought my first ID was the most interesting, the most intriguing User name ever, a name that was ‘me.’ Time passed. The name wasn’t really me. Consequently, I changed it. OK, OK, you’re wondering what’s the big deal about deciding on an ID. Nothing at all, because I am now ganymede9 ( 154 ) - the moon, not the myth - which fits me very well, since one of my unfulfilled desires is to become an astronaut. Maybe I should think more about being an eBay seller than flying through space, because if I don’t sell all the things we have in excess, we’re not going to have any space to fly through, much less sit in. PAYMENT
Payment in U.S. funds must be received no later than 5 days of auction close. My preferred method of payment is PayPal.
After you have been declared the winning bidder, you’ll receive my invoice with the total amount due including item price, shipping and handling fees and optional insurance cost. After your payment has been confirmed, you’ll hear from me again when I’ll let you know that your item is on its way. I typically mail items the next business day after payment has cleared.

SHIPPING
You, the lucky winner, pay shipping costs. I, the lucky seller, ship orders to a mailing address in the U.S. and, for some items, to international locations. I offer calculated shipping to help keep your costs down and mail by the method I deem most appropriate for the item. You may, however, request another USPS mailing service. I do charge handling costs for some items, which I will state in the listings.
I’ll provide the buyer with a tracking number and an anticipated delivery date. Sorry, but I don’t redirect shipments, send shipments to an addressee other than the buyer, or ship U.S. Overnight, Rush or Express mail.

INSURANCE
I actually like to pack things for shipping and take it as a point of pride that my packages are able to withstand the terrors of their time in transit. There are certain items which I require to be insured, but I normally leave the option of insuring or not up to you. If you decide not to purchase shipping insurance and your package is lost in the mail or damaged during shipping, I don’t issue refunds. You do, however, have the option of refusing delivery of a damaged package -- then it’s USPS’s responsibility. Insurance is surprisingly inexpensive. Cost is based on the final price of the item and you’re covered for the item’s actual value at the time and place of mailing. USPS insurance rates are available at: www.usps.com/insurance/welcome. I do require that all international shipments be insured, and ask, in the event of your returning the item from a non-U.S. location, that you buy insurance to protect yourself against loss or damage of the package..

RETURNS
OK, so you got what you were so excited about buying and, well, you’re not so excited anymore. Calm down! This is what we'll do. You’ll tell me that you hate what you bought and can’t wait to get it out of the house. I’ll say, “OK, just return the item within 7 days after it reached your once-happy home.” Next, I’ll refund you the item’s purchase price less shipping, handling and insurance.
