WHY WE EBAY
Guess eBay's become a verb just like Google did. eBay's our gardening money in the summer and our geek money in the winter. A friend told us, "strong geek vibes emanate from your home", and he's right. We work on computers for others, plus like to help people on computer forums. We also enjoy gardening, ponding, birding and photography. We're active members at Dave's Garden.
THE SKINNY
Since April 2004, my husband has lost over 245 pounds and I've lost over 70. No gimmicks, just common sense and healthy eating. You can read more about our weight loss journey at Shrinking the H-Man.
MY AUCTION POLICIES
- SHIPPING: I generally list shipping and handling in my individual auctions; international shipping I quote on a case-by-case basis when the buyer e-mails me before the auction closes. I will combine shipping on items, but I must know ahead of time so I can quote you for the entire package's weight.
- PAYMENT: Payment is required within 7 business days of an auction's close unless the auction description says differently. PayPal is my preferred payment method. I'm verified with them. I also accept money orders and certified checks. Personal checks are NOT accepted. Once burned, twice shy.
- LAST BUT NOT LEAST: Please do not bid on an item then write and ask to be made the one exception to the rule. I lavish positive feedback on responsible bidders, so take heart! ;)
ABOUT THAT ONE NEGATIVE
Let me tell ya, it stinks to have your very first feedback be a negative.
As you can see from the seller's comment, it was more of a personal attack than fact-based. We felt the item we bought was misrepresented and requested a refund or exchange, with us paying the postage both ways. He left nasty feedback rather than address the issue. Like they say on the cop shows, "Move along, now, folks...Nothing to see here, show's over."

- 3 Fat Chicks: A port in the storm for anyone dieting or maintaining after a weight loss. However you're doing it and wherever you are in the process, there are forums at 3FC for you and folks who understand. You can do it!
