Who is Garten Services, Inc.?

Garten Services, Inc., based in Salem, Oregon, is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation that has been proud to serve people with disabilities in the Central Willamette Valley since 1970. Each year, Garten provides career and retirement services to more than 500 people with developmental disabilities and long-term mental illness. We have grown to five locations in North Salem, South Salem, Dallas and Eugene. Our Electronics Recycling Division is at our North Salem site.

Garten is about people. We exist to help people with disabilities participate more fully in their community, thereby increasing society’s awareness of human potential. Garten is about business. We ARE a business, so we understand the needs of business owners and managers. Garten is about sustainability.  We are committed to operating in ways that are economically sound, environmentally conscious — and that encourage social equity.
