There may be some delay in our email responses. I am an Internal Medicine physician who has collected coins for almost 40 years. My father worked for oil companies and we traveled quite a bit. I started collecting British commonwealth and Europe at the tender age of 6. After decades of collecting foreign or world coins and currency, I have now completed 28 countries, and have coins from  645 other countries or issuing entities (not including thousands of tokens). I actually have 4 attributed numismatic discoveries, including the only known example of the Mexico 1848 Mo DG 1 real (certified). I buy estate collections, advertise to buy collections in the local newspapers, go to coin shows, and of course buy items on Ebay. When I acquire collections, often I only need a few items - either to add to my collection or as an upgrade. I've ended up with thousands of doubles or extras, and when I have time these often go up on Ebay.

          The business just keeps growing. In 2006 we became powersellers, in 2007 gold powersellers. My wife has left the healthcare field and now works fulltime on our Ebay business. This has allowed us to expand into a new area. Since March of 2008 I review literally pounds of gold scrap each week. I pick out designer items or other problem free gold and silver jewelry to sell on Ebay at prices based on gold or silver content, not retail prices.
