VINYL AND CD GRADING:
All items are visually graded, as it would take too long to listen to each item. I use a bright light bulb to assist my visual grading's. My grade refers to the VINYL GROOVES AND CD SURFACE ONLY. I carefully clean most records to remove any fingerprints and/or dust for the best sound possible. I use a modified Boldine standard, SEE BELOW. I rarely list items below VG. Covers, sleeves, writing, inserts, labels, etc., are not graded or usually disclosed. If you have any questions over these ungraded areas of my items, or want to know mixes, etc., whatever; please ask the question BEFORE BUYING OR MAKING AN OFFER. Once you hit the button, it is too late!
SS Still Sealed - in factory-fresh condition
M Mint - I don't use this grade.
NM Near Mint - a near perfect, probably unplayed record
VG++ Very Good Plus Plus– close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don’t affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG++.
VG+ Very Good Plus – Used with superficial signs of use that don’t affect play. Should satisfy all but the most demanding collector.
VG Very Good - a used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG- Very Good Minus - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
G+ Good Plus. In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up record
COVER AND CASE GRADING:
RECORD COVER CONDITIONS--- Range from Fair to Near-Mint condition and all of them have inner sleeves. Most covers are originals. Some covers may have stickers on them, name tags, pen or marker writings, etc. Some records may not be in their original covers, and some may have split seams, cut corners, tears, water damage, etc. I don't grade labels, and you can't see how a label looks like inside a picture cover, so please email me with any questions before you make a bid or a purchase.
CD CASES ----CASES ARE AS IS. I WILL REPLACE IF CRACKED (UNLESS IT IS SEALED) BEFORE SENDING. SOME CD'S ARE IN HARD CASES AND SOME ARE IN PLASTIC SLEEVES. MOST HAVE THE COVERS BUT THERE ARE A FEW THAT DON'T.

RETURN POLICY:
BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL RETURN SHIPPING COSTS!!!
The only reason I will take a return is if the item is not as I described it. I do not take returns for cover condition, writing on the cover, etc. All returns must be pre-approved BEFORE sending, otherwise no refund will be given. I double-check every record before it leaves, & catch most defects before they ever leave. Please note, the only thing I describe is the vinyl grooves: I do not disclose cover condition, writing on labels, writing on covers, etc. I expect the buyer to either ask all pertinent questions before making a purchase, or to abide by the consequences of not asking. That said, here is what I what I expect from a returned item:
1. I expect the item in my hands within 15 days of the day I shipped it.
2. I expect the original packaging.
3. Please write down the Ebay item#, Paypal transaction#, or enclose a printout of the transaction. I do a large volume of transactions every month, & it is very difficult to track down this info.
4. If the item is a SEALED item then it must still be SEALED upon return.

HANDLING TIME:
I normally ship 2-3 times per week, sometimes more, rarely less. Therefore, on the average, an item leaves 2-3 days after payment is received. Also, I mark all items "shipped" in eBay's system, so you can check your item details to see what day it actually left.
Business days are Monday thru Friday. Items not shipped on the weekends.
AS-IS ITEMS:
All items marked "as-is" in the title (pretty obvious, when you get right down to it)
All items graded VG- & below (this won't come up very often)
All items that sell for less than US$2.00 (I still give these items the same attention, but it is simply not worth the trouble to offer a guarantee for such low-cost merchandise).
