Back to previous page  LIFE CHANGES AFTER RETIREMENT! My husband Ray and I retired in 1997 and have been vendors, OFTEN TRAVELLING, selling to the public at festivals since retirement. We are no longer physically able to continue that type of work and life-style. As most married couples we have faced many trials and battles. My husband is a two-time cancer survivor which makes us realize that every day we have is a "gift". We know that we have been blessed tremendously! Our desire now is to spend more quality time with our ten grandchildren by working less away from home.   We feel our four sons are "an heritage of the Lord" and our grandchildren are truly "heaven-sent". We have four beautiful daughter-in-laws who are remarkable! Nothing we have ever done has given us more joys and rewards than being role models for our children and making good memories with our grandchildren.
