We're Stephen & Deidre Shives. We founded and lead Finish Line Christian Ministries based in the Summerfield, FL area. Thanks for checking out our page. We all have an interesting story to share. After all, each day is a whole new chapter! E-bay is a hobby that we both enjoy. We don't golf or fish, but always enjoy finding the best deal we can, and passing it on to someone else. Our ministry takes us around the world, and the proeeds from eBay sales often helps fund one of our mission trips.
The Best Deal I've Found
I discovered long ago that money, status and achievement were only temporary forms of happiness. Unfortunately, many of us waste years of our life pursuing temporary things. The best deal I've ever found in life, is the gift that God has offered all of us to have a personal relationship with Him. However, just like any other good deal, you have to make the choice of whether you want it or not. What a sweet deal it is! God tells us in His Word, "Come to me all who are weary, and I will give you rest." The fact is, no matter how bad you think you've messed up in life, God still loves you. I can tell you from personal experience; nothing else that life has to offer can compare to the joy and hope that is found in a personal relationship with the Creator of the universe.
