Gemstone artwork is an artwork of gemstone ,semi-precious stones and simulated stones. Basically, there are two techniques. The first one inlays stones on a piece of plywood or plastic sheet. You can see and feel the encrusted stones in this technique. The second one inlays the stones on the reverse side of glass etching outlines. More intricate designs can be produced in this technique with the aid of the craftsman artistic inspirations.

A craftsman has to go through excruciatingly long hours and painstakingly work on a piece of artwork. Most of the craftsmen/women survive on a very minimum amount of pay.

Any photo can be replicated as a gemstone artwork. Portrait photos and wedding photos can also be made into gemstone artworks.
