Stephanie Newman.
I hope you will enjoy my latest jewelry offerings.....
Ie been a full time professional artist for thirty years. Ie lived in more than forty different places, including seven years spent in Japan and the Far East. These years had a profound influence on my perception as an artist. The lasting impressions of the Orient linger in my paintings today.
Simplicity. Delicacy. Shape. Color.
I had the privilege at the beginning of my career to exhibit my work with some of the art industry best ~ Myke Morton, Stan Beckman, Lena Liu and her sister Lily, Kerry Hallam, Paco Young, P. Buckley Moss, Kenneth F. Aunchman and, of course, my ex-husband Ron Bertocchi and my present husband Mark Newman. (Happily I was also clever enough to collect art from some of them as well!)
I fortunate to have collectors world-wide, from China to the Sultanate of Oman. Ie worked in welded sculpture, woodcuts, photography, serigraphy, jewelry design and did an unusual form of wood sculpture that my husband Mark and I designed.
Mark Newman has been an artist almost as long. He started in jewelry design and went into leather design and sculpture, woodworking and finally into watercolors. He sells most of his originals to cruise lines but will do custom work.
We both are represented by Art Vue Galerie', Cocoa Village, Florida
