Hello to all who view this page. My name is Joseph and I thank you for browsing Getella. Our store was founded in the state of Texas along with the help of my best friend who has since passed on. I will always be greatful for sharing life with her. Due to this extremely sad loss the store is now based in Wisconsin. At first our goal was to sell anything and everything. Selling auction catalogs directed the company torwards art. As you can see Getella has become more of an art gallery. WWW.GETELLA.COM
What makes Joseph's eyes so knowing of beautiful art? Nothing, not even my degree in Philosophy/Psychology could open the minds vision of great works. I have come to understand how art affects the soul. Our hardships and pleasures, our joy and anger is what molds the art to each of us. Everyone has the ability to observe with heart. I have been fortunate enough to see life experiences differently. My secret is slow life down and find pleasures in the smallest things. Do this with a clear self then you will bring forth the beauty that is hidden.
As for what drives me to grow this great store, it must be the fear of failure. Truely though I also love art, not lines but emotion. Representing others who dare to reveal such feeling is an honor. Everything has shape and lines so why should art hold a value? To me, the emotional soul of an art piece is what makes the image or object special. I want art to invoke laughter and tears. Most of our displayed pieces exhibit such moved experiences. I love to seek out unknown artists who pour their heart into works. Many times their creations are dripping with feeling. Is this not the essence of being human?

Art is not only creating it is also about enjoying life through a natural self. Our company cares about people and wants all to know themselves. Please do not rely on substances to fullfill life. Flow like colors from a brush. Feel all the emotions of truly being alive. Why be in a blurring fog when life is so short. Take in each breath and start making your master piece!
