I live in a suburb of Mpls/St. Paul, MN with my wife and two kids, where I have operated a business out of my home for many, many years. I set up my first online business in 1983. Now I'm getting heavily involved in online auctions, and would appreciate it if you wanted to share your experiences with me.
I have been collecting Frisbees and other flying discs since 1971. Slowly, slowly I'm getting around to putting images of all 500 (600? 700? I lost count a long time ago) on my virtual Frisbee museum web site.
My brother, Don Strinz, sells tipis for a living from the old family farm in Nebraska. Go figure. Better still, go to the Don Strinz Tipi web site. It's been online since 1995.
Back in 1985, I started the world's first syndicated online humor mazazine, called ZIP Beep! in honor of a Firesign Theatre bit. It ran monthly for five years on as many as 150 Bulletin Board Services. Take a trip down memory lane.
