Thank you for taking time to learn more About Me and Glass Allure! My name is Michelle Cabunac McIlwain and recently my family moved to Gulf Breeze Florida. It is a move that we have been hoping to make for quite a few years now and are very excited to be here. The natural beauty of the area gives me the inspiration I need to sit out on my back porch and make the beads I so love to create. I started making beads in November of 2003 after taking a 2 hour class on making glass bead bracelets. While I liked making the bracelet I realized I loved the beads more! I came home from the class that day and did some research on the internet about making glass beads. I found out that not only was it something I could do but I also found a class near the town I was living in at the time. Ever since then beads have consumed quite a bit of my time and if I not making beads I am thinking about making beads! Glass has a very alluring quality to it that draws me in and makes me want to create new beads with it, which is where the name of my business comes from.
