WHAT IS DICHROIC GLASS
The technology used to make dichroic glass (pronounced "die-crow-ick") is called "Thin Film Physics". It was developed for the aerospace industry (it is what makes the astronaut's face shield gold).
The extremely bright and colorful surface is created by placing a sheet of glass in a vacuum chamber, and vaporizing metals with a high-voltage electron beam (up to 3000 degrees). These particles are bonded to the surface of the glass in many thin layers (just a few microns thick) creating the incredible iridesence.
Hold the piece up to the light and see how the colors shift and change. The way it attracts light and energy is incredibly exciting to work with and visually stimulating.
JEWELRY ORGANIZERS
I had been making and selling beautiful jewelry for many years. I needed a better way to organize and display my jewelry. I came up with the original hanging earring organizer as a solution.
Through the years I came up with several other versions that are for also organizing your necklaces (as well as earrings), clip and hoop earrings, and hair barrettes. They are available in twenty-five different colors, with either WHITE, BLACK, or GRAY mesh (heavy-duty velcro tabs are only available in white or black).
Now you can see and quickly find the items that you wear regularly. No more digging through a messy drawer to find just the right earrings, or detangling necklaces and bracelets.
