Hello there - my name is Wendy DeWitt or as I am known on eBay - Golders. A farmhouse in the San Joaquin Valley of northern California (2 hours from Sacramento) that I have nicknamed 'The Bottom Of The Rabbithole' is home. Picked up a paintbrush before I could write and have been painting ever since. Cabbages, shoes, cats and rabbits.
All types of subject matter catches my eye but especially 'critters'. I have two cats - a British Shorthair who has a long coat and a Siamese Munchkin cat who runs the house, along with a found dog who decided I needed a dog. He takes his duties very seriously and guards the house. Last year another pup came to join my family, a Toy Manchester Terrier. At least I am told he is a dog. He thinks he is a drama queen with a dog head.
Working in watercolor, acrylics and oils,I have designed everything from stained glass to tattoos. I have worked in metal (welding) and spent some time as a commercial artist. Portraits and historic homes, flowers and still life, and Harleys as commissions have kept me busy. I am a listed artist and maintain my own website (see link). I have enjoyed painting ACEOs to reach a new generation of collectors and now create art dolls and other nonsense items.
