So why the name golfangel? Well hubby and I decided to try our hand at Ebaying and he's an avid golfer(as much as time permits anyway)and I'm an angel collector.... thus was born the combined ID.
We are still quite new to ebay but have really enjoyed it so far. I was stumbling and fumbling around alot until I discovered the New To Ebay discussion board. The regulars there are so knowledgable and helpful that in no time, I was feeling pretty confident. Some not-so-interesting facts about me are that I have been married for 36 years and I have 2 children. I have been a stay at home mom most of my life to care for my oldest child, a son with multiple handicaps. While his care has been challenging, it has also been highly rewarding. I have learned more from him than he has ever learned from me!
I love music of all kinds but especially the music I grew up with from the 60's. I can still cut a pretty mean rug and as far as I'm concerned..."Rock and Roll Will Never Die"
One of my other loves is computer graphics. I have been using PSP(paint shop pro)for about 8 years and still learn new things all the time. I enjoy creating graphics for my own use as well as for others. I am pretty much self taught and started at the ripe young age of 48 which just goes to prove that you can teach an old dog new tricks.
Speaking of dogs, I am owned by two of them. The older one is a cocker spaniel that we rescued 9 years ago. Filthy, cold and scared, "Sam" quickly won our hearts. Upon taking him to the vets for a check up next day, we learned he was near death with heartworm. There was no hesitation to get him the necessary treatments and soon he was thriving again. My younger dog Mickee is a 5 year old cocka-poo with no concept of his small size. All 12 pounds of him toppled a 50 pound neighbors dog when he thought I was going to be hurt!
I have owned my own business in the real world and know how important honest dealings and customer service is. I make every effort to do the same thing here in the cyber world. Whether I am offering a 99¢ widget or a $99 widget, I will always attempt to have an excellent transaction between the both of us.
