Hi :)

Thank you for visiting my "about me" page. 

My name is Kerstin Gonzalez and I live in Western Australia with my husband, 3 small children and a menagerie of furry and feathery companions including a shih-tzu, a boistrous beagle, 2 cats, 17 chickens, 2 rabbits, a budgie and a cockatiel.   I'm a veterinarian so many of these are rejects of the society that found their ways into our hearts.  Many a time have I come home with a new addition with my husband looking at me shaking his head " I hope that's not a stray....".   Currently I'm a stay at home mum so the opportunity of adopting more has lessened :)

I'm extremely grateful to have found my inner painting gift in the past year and now I can let my passion for animals be expressed in a different form.  I hope it shows in my paintings :)

10% from all my art sales gets donated to a local no kill - dog and cat shelter.  It's wonderful to still be able to help animals and make a difference even though I'm not currently working as a veterinarian.
