More About Me.....

I am a fan and collector of Southern Gospel Music, having done so since the early sixties. I have over 5,000 albums, 78s, 45s, and related memorabilia in my collection. I was fortunate to be a performer in the business as well, having been a member of The Hemphills for 8 years, and The Chuck Wagon Gang for 9 years. I was one of the first (possibly the first) to recognize and establish the fact that Southern Gospel Music as wanted and collectible, there's a market for it, and at the time, few, if anyone were doing it. I began a business with it at National Quartet Convention in 1974, from a small stockpile that I had accumulated. To my knowledge, I was the first to offer it majorly on the internet. I am also responsible for the very first two Southern Gospel Music videos released in the field, one by The Cathedral Quartet and the other by The Chuck Wagon Gang. They were released in the early 80's, and at a bit too early for the buying public.
