Back to previous page  Winchester Books & Collectibles I started reading at the age of 4, just when that dratted Comics Code Authority killed the classic EC comics line; I alternated between fantasy & fact: one day it was Weird Tales, the next day a How & Why volume. In my early 'teens, it was Life Nature & Science Libraries and Edgar Rice Burroughs, whom I started seriously collecting at the age of 13. To this day I alternate between fantasy & fact, between horror and earth sciences. I've worked for a major NYC bookseller, managed an old & used bookstore for several years, and taught myself bookbinding and book repair / restoration. But now that I'm a homeowner, my personal collection is being auctioned off little by little on eBay!   It's a hard lesson to learn, but I can't hold on to everything all my life - fact is, I must learn to let go of things to allow new wonders a chance to enter my life. The things I sell have been loved and cared for, but now it's time to let someone else love them as I have.
