A lot of my beads, jewelry, sewing supplies and such items have come from Grandma house. She was always a pack rat and would save everything! She would go to garage and yard sales to buy all kinds of stuff. In her prime she restored dolls and made cloths for them. Also, loved her beads and bobbles. She had to recently move in with my parents and we have to get rid of her junk, which is sure to be someone else treasure. I have also purchased lots of old necklaces and such. In some of these lot purchases there have been few odds and ends, which I have no need for, and I have been storing them- now is the time to clean out my own house. Recently I have received some merchandise from a New York City shop that closed in 1990 after years of being the top bead and component store in Manhattan. These items were warehoused for years and a variety of them have now come into my possession and are for sale in my auctions.

All the fine print.

Communication--> I will contact you same or next day regarding auction wins. I email when payment is received and when item is shipped. If you mailed your payment and 10 days has passed with no email from me- I have not received it and please contact me regarding the lost payment. I have had a couple of payment lost in postal neverland. If payment is delayed for some reason, just contact me and let me know what the status is. I will work with situations as long as there is communication. I get nervous when I do not receive payment in a timely manner and get no answers to my emails.
Feed Back--> Is posted once a week to utilize my time best and also to give me a system so I do not forget anyone. If I have not left feed back for you and it has been over 7 days since you received the item do not hesitate to contact me and give me a reminder; even with he systemI have been known to over look a feed back.
Packaging and Shipping--> I am the Tape Queen when it comes to packing. I know what it is like to receive items that are damaged and do not want any of my buyers to experience that from poor packing. Most small items like beads are wrapped in bubble wrap, placed in a film canister or surrounded with cardboard protection, which is taped shut, placed in a padded envelope, sealed and an extra piece of tape added to the seal. The film canister/cardboard gives added protection against the postal gorillas out there. I will ship multiple wins together, when possible, so buyers can save on shipping costs. I do charge more then actual shipping to cover the cost of the supplies needed (bubble wrap, tape, labels, padded envelopes etc.) Even with this little extra there is a savings to you on the first class shipping over priority. I try to ship the cheapest method for the item. Along with newly purchased packing materials I have been known to recycle boxes, envelopes and packing materials- so you never know what you will find in my packages. It is all safe and clean materials used, just can be inventive sometimes. I ship on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. Money orders go out on next shipping day and personal checks 10 days to clear bank before shipping.
Check individual auction for details on shipping charges. --Mailing area within lower 48 states- Cost of shipping (for smaller lightweight items) is normally determined by number of auctions won and shipped together. Some larger or heavier lots may have an "add on" fee or go only Priority shipping (check individual auctions for details).
Initial shipping cost is $2.50 (1st class) for a single auction, then add .25 for each additional auction up to 4 auctions won. 5 to 8 auctions won will be shipped Priority at a cost of $4.75, 9 to 12 auctions won will be shipped Priority at a cost of $6.25, 13 to 15 auctions won will be shipped Priority at a cost of $8.25. Auctions totaling 16 or more won will be quoted with actual cost of shipping plus a $1.00 handling fee to cover packing materials, such as bubble wrap, peanuts and labels. On any 1st class mailing above; if you wish to have Priority mailing instead, just let me know and I will accommodate. However, there is a Minimum Shipping fee of $4.75.
Note; If you win several auctions of just small items, small lots, which are light weight like pins, jump rings or tiny charms- you can request first class shipping on those- 1-4 auctions at $2.50 and 5-7 auctions at $2.75 (1st class). Just provide your mailing address in your reply to my innotice, asking for a recalculation of shipping and if it is determined your items won fall under this, a new invoice will be sent.
Regarding Priority shipping only; New postal rates and regulations--The post office is charging more for having to ship priority longer distances. Example; shipping a 2LB package has a charge of $3.95 to $5.70 by the post office, depending on how far it has to go from my area (East Coast). For a standard shipping/handling fee to be listed in my auctions I had to come up with a figure that would be reasonable yet cover all zones, since I never know where a package will be shipped to. The shipping/handling fees listed in my auctions cover shipping to all zones. However, if you live near the East coast (zones 1-4) and my standard shipping/handling fee is over $4.75, you can request a recalculation of the fee, since the shipping charged by the post office would be lower then my standard shipping/handling fee listed in the auctions. So, if your zip code begins with the first three numbers of 005, 010-043, 045, 048, 050-249, 254-322, 326, 344, 356-358, 362, 370-374, 376-379, 385, 398-418, 421-423, 425-462, 467-474, 479-489, 492. (these are zones 1-4 zip codes) - -provide your mailing address in your reply to my innotice, asking for a recalculation of shipping. The shipping/handling fee will then be reduced by $.75- $2.00 depending on your postal zone the original amount and a new invoice sent to you. This reduction applies only to Postal Zones 1-4 as listed above and if original shipping/handling fee charged is over $4.75.
Note; I do charge a little more then the actual shipping to cover package materials. This has already been calculated into the standard fees listed in my auctions and will be taken into consideration when recalculating the reduced fee to zones 1-4.
Priority Postal rate discounts Discount can be applied only if you request it.
Zones 1-3: If your zip code starts with any of these three numbers-
005, 070-098, 100-119, 155-157, 159, 166, 168-241, 243-249, 254, 258, 259, 262-286, 295, 297.
Discount will be off the original Priority shipping of;
$6.25 (-$1.25) = $5.00 New rate
$8.25 (-$2.00) = $6.25 New rate
Zone 4: If your zip code starts with any of these three numbers-
010-043, 045, 048, 050-069, 120-154, 158, 160-165, 167, 242, 255-257, 260-261, 287-294, 296, 298-322, 326, 344, 356-358, 362, 370-374, 376-379, 385, 398-418, 421, 423, 425-427, 430-462, 467-474, 479-489, 492.
Discount will be off the original Priority shipping of;
$6.25 (-.75) = $5.50 New rate
$8.25 (-$1.00) = $7.25 New rate

All other zip codes will be charged as listed in the auction.

--Mailing outside lower 48 states & international- Generally I will ship international plus Hawaii & Alaska. ALASKA, HAWAII and CANADIAN buyers (for smaller lightweight items) add an additional $1.00 to the shipping charge. Other foreign buyers- notify me with your mailing address and postage will be calculated as actual shipping cost plus up to $1.00 handling fee to cover packing materials, such as bubble wrap, peanuts and labels. Check actual action for details on international shipping.
Insurance--> Even though I pack well and have had no problems so far- I still recommend that the buyer opts for insurance coverage. I will not be responsible for postal abuse or lost mail. Buyers who do not obtain insurance are doing so at their own risk. I once received a priority box that looked like a postal truck ran it over and of course the items did not survive. I do not think any amount of packing care would have protected the contents of that box!
Payment Methods--> I accept money orders, checks and credit cards through PayPal. Payment should be received within 10 days of auction end. PayPal and Money orders are shipped on my next shipping day. Checks must wait a 10-day clearing period. I use the 10-day time frame, since this gives me time to deposit it and the bank time to clear the check and notify me by mail if there were any problems with the check. I have so many sales going on I cannot call the bank on every check to see if has cleared yet. There will be a $25.00 fee charged for any returned check. For repeat customers I do not enforce the waiting period- just remind me with your payment that you are a PC (past customer) and I will ship right away. I need the reminder note, since I sell so much I cannot always remember every transaction, plus age is catching up with me. Regarding PayPalPayPal is an electronic way to send money for auctions. You can send me the money the same day as the auction win and I can mail it out just as fast, so you receive your item quickly, also no worry about payment being lost in the mail. They either charge it to your account balance or credit card. I have an ongoing account balance so any purchases I make are taken out of that and when my balance starts to run low I send them a check or money order to bring it up, so I have never had my credit card charged yet. It is almost like having a checking account with them to pay the sellers of auctions from. With this method of payment I get my items quicker and do not have to pay the fee (.49-.88) to get a money order. Registration and the site are very easy to use and simple. Refund policy--> I try to describe all items accurately and try to provide good photos. Items are sold AS-IS. You should e-mail me with any questions prior to bidding. Will refund money if the item(s) are not as described and request is made within 3 days of receiving the item. Must be returned in the original condition. Buyer will be responsible for shipping costs to return item.
