My name is Sharon Rosentreter. I am a semi-retired Registered Nurse. I have started an online business:

• To further fulfill a lifelong interest in collecting
• To ease into retirement with an income
• To meet new people
• To be able to spend more time with my husband
• To stay busy doing what I enjoy 

     I have been accumulating small, dainty, pretty collectibles since I was very young. As a child, I was always fascinated with tiny flowers and colorful stones. When I was 8 years old, my grandmother gave me a  small tea set in the Blue Willow pattern. I have kept those dishes through a house fire, many moves, and much travel.

     All my life, I kept acquiring little collectibles which appealed to me, from many sources. I kept them in a shoebox. That shoebox went with me to nursing school and the Army Nurse Corps. I had it with me in Germany for two years. Of course, that was an excellent place to add to its contents, at the Christmas Markets, wood carvers, and multitudes of shops. When I was sad or tired, I took out the shoe box and put out my little treasures to enjoy.

     After I got married, my husband began to buy me some curio cabinets. I enjoyed taking out the shoe boxes (there were several by that time) and planning the best placement of my little treasures in the shelves of my new curio cabinets. I need a room just for curio cabinets, now.  I especially enjoy teas sets, pitchers, and carefully made miniatures of all kinds. I have tiny toys and books for my dolls and bears. They even have their own Christmas decorations.

     In time, I began to realize that people are the real treasures: my family, the people I cared for as a nurse, and the people in my church are all among my special treasures.

     Among my other interests are playing the piano, reading and studying the Bible and occasionally teaching the Bible, writing devotionals, and travel.

     I especially enjoy selling inspirational items, but I also have a large selection of gifts and home decor that make my store suitable for family-oriented shopping.

     My husband is a "born salesman."  We  owned and managed a store together, until his health prevented us from continuing it. So, having an online store is ideal. We still put on live sales, now and then, and enjoy them very much.
