Hello, welcome to Gramaphone Records. We are located in Chicago, our telephone number is 773-472-3683. We have been in the music industry since 1969, selling everything from the "super rare", Garage rock band to Jimi Hendrix, to the top of the chart hits!
In the mid eighties, we started going into the specialty scene with the DJ in mind. The dance scene was raw, and there were not enough stores to fill the need of your nightclub, or bedroom dj, so we started to concentrate on the the 12" long play single. We specialized in House Music (a new genre at the time), Italo Disco, industrial, and high energy. With some of the greatest dj's enlisted to our staff, we established a worldwide presence!
We have been very happy to have employed some of the greatest dj's of all time. A small list of these include, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Miles Maeda, Dj Collette, Ralphie Rosario, Dj Lego, Gemini, Justin Long, Erik Sativa, The Molemen (Panik, and PNS) & Psycho Bitch, as well as many, many others!
We still serve our customers today with the highest of standards, & have the knowledge of the current great dj staff which includes, Michael Serafini(owner), Andy Moy, Josh Werner, Oscar McMillan, AM-PM, Itchy Fingers, Tracy Tobey, Hector Lopez, Grand Marquee, Julian Peña, Tyrell Williams, & Two-1.
