Ebay a new road for retirement


I taught for 34 years, the last 13 years in a middle school setting.  I was able to retire after teaching special education for my entire career. My husband and I have raised 3 sons, one of whom still lives with us.  He has Down Syndrome and will someday live in a special group home. I became a mother-in-law in October 2007 and will become a mother-in-law once again next August.  Hopefully I will become a grandma.  We also have a 14 1/2-year old black Cocker Spaniel named Divot.  She recently had surgery for a cancerous growth on her paw, but has become the spunky adorable dog we love. 

I retired from teaching June 2007.  I plan to devote time to my family, my 80-something-year-old parents, my home, ebay selling and my sanity.  I loved teaching, but I always knew I wanted to retire before I became that grouchy old teacher we all once had.  To keep fresh, I am tutoring an adorable third grader in reading and writing.  I also volunteer at my former school during state testing and 6th grade camp.
