Well, folks, we've lost the original Grannygoodstuff. She was my darling Mom, and went Home November 7, 2007. My world ended. I lost my playmate, my friend and my mommy.
We used to have so much fun years ago when we started Ebaying. We'd hunt for treasures to share, spent hours on the roads talking, laughing, then we'd come home and play with our goodies and our listings and such. Made a bunch of great Ebay buddies.
I started exploring my creative side and found I shared her talent with oil painting Bob Ross style. I have embraced his "no mistakes, just happy accidents!" in all my creative expressions. I've been messing around with fabric for the last 3 or 4 years. I've made a bunch of quilts and purses and pillows and take them around to the local craft fairs. I do quite well, or at least I have been. I'm worried that this year of economic turmoil will hurt us crafters. But anyway, you should know that I make happy accidents all the time. I hate to measure, I hate using pins, I don't like following rules. So, I figure I'm not a quilter or seamstress, what I am is an artist that uses lots of different ways to express my "vision." I probably don't do things the way anyone else does, but I get it done and it's the "doing" that blesses me. And, I hope, you too.
