Back to previous page  Lamps Linens and Christmas Wishes Hello! I am a grandmother from Texas and I have enjoyed both being a seller and a buyer on Ebay for several years. I collect Hallmark ornaments and Polar Express items as well as music, books, sewing and craft items and thimbles. I devote most of my time to my family. My husband and I both are members of the local symphony and the local community band. We also perform music in our church. I volunteer with the local high school band as a chaperone and am affectionately known as "the uniform lady". I distribute the uniforms and keep up all the mending. It's terrific working with all the kids and watching them grow from year to year. In addition, I do volunteer work with a dear friend of mine who teaches kindergarten. I help her with the testing for report cards each 6 weeks and do copying and other things that teachers don't really have time for. The 5 year olds are a challenge but do precious and they soak up knowledge just like sponges. I have just set up my eBay store Lamps Linens and Christmas Wishes (July 2006) and hope to help supplement my husband's income enough to pay property taxes and medical expenses plus other emergencies that might arise. I will be adding new items continuously from various drop ship companies.   I am a victim and survivor of Multiple Sclerosis and had to give up my career as a registered nurse 10 years ago. I worked in labor and delivery and loved every minute of it. Due to the complications of my disease I was not able to safely do my job and keep up with the physical demands it requires. My volunteer work and the time I spend selling and shopping with Ebay help to keep me going. I am thrilled whenever a customer receives their item and lets me know how very much they like it.
