A way to pay-for-my-comics-and-art

I love PayPal for credit card payments to me DUE AT AUCTIONS' CLOSE!

Orders are usually mailed flat between two pieces of sturdy hand cut cardboard & usually via1st class mail in a manila envelope. Or in a box. I am experimenting with packaging to reduce costs to you where possible while maintaining maximum protection for your comic and art purchases.

Additional wins ship for less if shipped in same order. No cash through mail, please, thanks.

Domestic Shipping:

After the initial fee additional comics ship for just .25 cents (modern/copper) to .50 cents (bronze/Silver Age) to $1.00 extra (Golden Age or slabbed or magazines) each if shipped in same order.

Normal sized comics ship for $2.50 -- $3.50 via 1st class for the first item then an average of .50 cents for other normal sized comics per issue in same order (and less depending on how many!). (After the shipping cost for first piece of art additional art shipped in same order ships for free).   If first class doesn't work I'll ship via Priority. If you have a preference tell me.

Most items ship within 3 work days (not counting weekends, holidays/vacations or conventions).

I insure expensive items. You are responsible for actual shipping and insurance costs. Please do not alter the total without my permission. Do go to paypal directly if you suspect anything from anyone. I can send an invoice to you from them too. Request it as needed.

RE: International shipments only the actual postage costs are due. I insure all orders now via Auctiva especially art).    (Talk to me, all options open). After you pay for shipping for 1st page of art ...additional art shipped in same order ships for free.

Refund Policy: Sold as is, all sales are final. In rare instances a mistake may occur.   If this happens email me or call please prior to returning anything. I will work with you to make it right. Shipping is not refundable ever unless the fault is glaringly mine.

What I'm offering is a mixture of duplicates and my one of a kind high grade personal collection of comics & art and other items.
Hope you find something you are looking for.
This material cannot be found in just any grocery store you know.
Comics make great reference material & teach business, art and writing skills. Plus they entertain the eye and mind.
I've been selling, promoting & accurately grading comics for 43 years.
I owned my first comic & bookstore in 1978 in Venice/Ocean Park, CA ("Beyond Illusion").
I owned the super ultra cosmic magical comic shop:
Ninth Nebula from 1986 to 1996.
In my lifetime I held over 200 autograph parties with comic & SF professionals (most pre-1977) (artists and writers, including several with Jack Kirby, Stan Lee, Dave Stevens, Paul Smith, George Clayton Johnson, Harlan Ellison, Steve Gerber, Marty Pascoe, Sergio Aragones, Larry Niven (see the video) and with many many others.   I also threw the 1st creator's rights party in 1985.
I had two interviews published in Comics Journal (one with Roy Thomas and one with Gerry Conway).   Though my Gerry Conway interview was recently reprinted by the Journal.
I managed of a chain of comic stores, owned two stores (at different times) and threw a small comic book convention at an SF clubhouse next to whee I opened a mighty yet small comic store.
Some of my collection of old comics appeared on the front page of Burbank Daily Leader Newspaper along with my article on comics in 1985. My advertisements appeared in RBCC and Comic Buyer's Guide when they began.
I threw 19 comic cons.

I am a private party off loading my old store stock & personal collection.

(I sell comics, original comic art (I want to share my abundance of Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, SPIDER-MAN, FF, Daredevil, Hulk, and X-MEN comics with you now).

I have many of these in mass quantity and high grade at low prices... And I sell comics from many companies including DC, Pacific, EC, First, Eclipse, Fantagraphics, image, valiant, independent comics, silver age, golden age, big little book's, pulps, original comic art, fiction house, old fanzines...and more.

I published 5+ fanzines from 1965-1971 Beyond Infinity (#1), Eon ( #2, 3) & Graphic Illusions. My words and art have appeared in 100's of SF & comic fanzines too.

I have studied web design for the last 15 years and graphic design for 43 years. Was a member of Capa-Alpha (the elite comic apa zine club) as a kid & the comic club SMASH.
