Back to previous page  Great Lakes Weimaraner Rescue Great Lakes Weimaraner Rescue  was created in an effort to support & provide for the rescue, recovery, care, rehabilitation & re-homing of Weims in need across the Great Lakes region. No one individual is GLWR...we came together to form a collective & collaborative organization with our sole purpose being to assist Weims in need. We work with the various networks of shelters and containment facilities in several states as well as accept owner relinquishments. We exist solely on the generous donations of those who love these majestic "grey ghosts" as much as we do & the fund raising efforts of our very talented and energetic group. All funds received are used to support the vet care & other essential expenses necessary in the daily care of the dogs.   We believe in doing everything possible to help a dog make the transition to their forever home.
