In 2003, we adopted two retired Greyhounds, Roof Top Candy, and Dizzy Tin Lizzy.  Candy & Lizzy (or the “girls” as we call them) are veteran dog-track racers.  Both had injuries that marked them for adoption or, possibly even euthanization.  Luckily, our paths crossed and true love was born.  They are beautiful, gracious, and adoring dogs, but we soon learned they came with mounting vet bills.   It seemed like every time we turned around it was another $500 vet bill. 

So, to make some extra money we started selling on eBay. First, some boxes of books from our previous move, then an old CD collection we had.  It went very well, and we started going to yard sales and estate sales – anywhere we could to get media at low cost for resale on eBay.  Now, due to our volume and Power Seller status, we are able to source new CDs, DVDs, Movies, Books, Audio Books and many other great items at below wholesale prices, saving you money and time!

We turned a need and our passion for our dogs into an ability to care for them and it has proved to be a rewarding career on eBay.   

Should you adopt a Greyhound?   Absolutely!  They are sweet, loving, well-behaved, and generally very quiet dogs.   They’ve lived a life of racing around a track, and really do love their time in retirement.   And, believe it or not, they are true couch potatoes.
