ALL are welcome here!
Hello and welcome! Please allow me to introduce myself; my name is Sher Miller, aka OldTimeMeArtist here on Ebay. My bio includes my husband, two grown children (Brad and Cindy) and five beautiful grandkids. We have a blended family that includes three stepsons and another handsome little grandson. Our dog, Frankie (a Chow mix), lives at the top of our hill and keeps watch over our property. He has a ferocious bark but would lick the skin off you. Living in the main area of our home are our four parrots: Bailey, a greater sulphur crested cockatoo, Natasha ('Tasha), our beautiful multi-colored Derbyan, and two Amazons, Romeo and Julie. My husband, myself and the pets who own us make our home in the Tennessee Appalachians. Before I met my husband I traveled quite a bit and lived in Indiana, Louisiana, California, New York and, for a short time, Texas. I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to visit most of the states in the Continental U.S. and Hawaii as well as to Canada and Mexico. Much of my art reflects my personal experiences and inspirations from these areas.
My fibre arts
Although I have done crafts for years and will occasionally sell other items on Ebay, my true passion is in fibres. I have been a doll artist for years and have never used a pattern for any of my dolls, which is the way I learned to design them when I was a child. They are cut straight from the fabric without use of a line drawing on the fabric, my own pattern, nothing but scissors, fabric and my imagination! Their clothes are designed the same way. I make them with a lot of love, a bit of wit and a lot of accidental needle pricks.
My other creations transcend similarly. This is why I believe making patterns for others to be a real challenge. This new outlet is a new venture for me
Stories often accompany my artwork. Good art, for me, has always told a story and I will oftentimes share the story that prompted my art. Writing has always come naturally to me; I started writing short stories almost as soon as I learned to spell and have been truly blessed throughout my lifetime in that I have been able to earn a living using this skill.
If you're ever in northeast Tennessee, I hope you get a chance to stop in at Robin's Nest in Elizabethton, TN. Several of my items are on display.
If you would like to know more about my family and me please visit my personal website where I have displayed some of my sold dolls as well as others:

Please don't expect anything breathtaking, as it is a work still in progress! I hope to see you there!
Thanks for visiting my little corner of Ebay!
