ABOUT ME!
Well, let's see. I could probably go on for days, "about me" but I'll try to be humble.
I pretty much sell cosmetics on Ebay. Occassionally I'll find a treasure at a thrift store or yard sale and you'll find that listed. As I'm getting older I keep finding things in my house that I just don't need anymore and then they find themselves on Ebay as well.
Personally, I haven't paid retail for cosmetics in so many years I can't count them. I'm happy to provide that same opportunity to my Ebay buyers. I think Mary Kay is a great product and I wouldn't want to be without it, but at the same time, I wouldn't want to pay retail, why would you?
I always wonder why/how people come up with thier user ID's so in case you wonder about mine. GulfcoastGoddess (my screen name) gets questioned every now and then considering my location is listed as New Hampshire, whose state motto is something like "Live Freeze & Die. Well, I'd rather not so I spend 4 months a year (Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr) living directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the west coast of Florida.
I selected Cotton Top's Shop for my store name because when I was little I had the whitest blonde hair and people called me Cottontop. I can't remember at what age I had to start enhancing in order to keep the blonde hair, maybe about the same time I lost my nickname.
It's important to me to provide great service. If, as a buyer, you have any problems with your item, I want to know about it. As long as I'm made aware I will do everything I can to make it right for you. Additionally please don't use Feedback as a communication means especially if you didn't contact me first. I don't think feedback was intended to blindside the seller, but instead intended to report sellers who were made aware of an error/problem and refused to do anything about it. Please contact me directly and allow me the opportunity to fix an error instead of notifying me through feedback of a mistake. I will admit, I am a human and I sell a lot of things, sometimes I make a mistake - but please don't tell my husband I admitted that.
In addition to Ebay, I am also a special education teacher. My most recent job was with Vermont Department of Corrections. I worked with under 22 year old incarcerated students through the Community High School, which is based inside all the that state jails. Having seen some of my previous public school students end up as my current incarcerated students I became frustrated at the lack of services they recieved in school and the obvious lack of information their parents were provided by their school district. As a result I started a website where parents can learn from each other and education professionals about thier child's rights and how they can best advocate for them.
If ever you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me, I'm always happy to hear from my buyers and some I've stayed in touch with after their transaction was complete.
