How I Work
For paintings, I usually work in acrylics on hardwood masonite for durability and strength, also occassionally on medium or heavyweight (Crescent or Strathmore brand, usually) cold pressed illustration board; also many are on high quality stretched canvas. Some come already framed. I religiously coat my paintings with Varuthane varnishes (or Clear Coat if Linen paintings). This protects your art for many many years as well as gives the work a beautiful gloss that resembles oils. For drawings, I work in various media (India inks, charcoal, prismacolor, pastels, markers, etc.) (generally on Strathmore, Beinfang or Seth Cole illustration paper, colored papers or Bristol board unless otherwise indicated in the auction.) Usually my drawings and paintings range between $100 - $3500.00 in the open market place (stores, internet sales, galleries (all across the globe), etc. Do yourself a favor: Bookmark the gullerud seller's page! And note: Gullerud takes commissions occasionally; if there's something you've been wanting to get done in a personal, more specific way, get in touch with him personally. Prices are fair. Gullerud accepts personal checks (wait for banks to clear), money orders, cashier's checks and Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Card through Paypal (it's very easy to set up an account). (US currency cash is OK, too, but at your risk for possible mail theft or loss, and be sure to conceal it well; tinfoil is a good way/ sometimes overseas bidders prefer this method.)
Payment must be received within 7 (seven) days of auction's end. No exceptions.
