Lazy Summer Days

Hey there and welcome to my little corner of the world. This is the more casual side of me. I try hard to keep my business & personal life separate as that is the way it should be. However, I do meet many wonderful people here on eBay and sometimes that builds into a nice little friendship. It's always nice to meet new people. Don't you agree?

Anyhow, I thought I would share a little bit about myself with those of you who might be interested in who you do business with. I am a dedicated wife & mother and small business owner. I love being creative. I have around 25 years experience in sewing. In my younger days, I was quite the blooming artist. I used to do charcoal drawings as a hobby. I also dabbled with oils & pastels but later gave that up to design stage clothing for local bands.

While I still like to sew, I have taken up paper crafting once again. I no longer draw, but I love making cards & scrapbook pages. I have found that it is a relaxing hobby. I put a lot of time & detail into each card that I make and I have been making my cards for years now. You will always receive high quality from me. Scrapbooking is something that I started years ago when CM first came out and I wasn't too good at it so I gave it up. I have since decided to give it another try because there are so many great products available today, that it is almost impossible to make a bad page (unless of course, you are really, really bad at it). And I have found that through my card making experiences, I'm not too bad at it & promise to only get better:o)

The Calm Before the Storm

I have been an active member of Boutique Angels Charity Organization, which is a group of boutique owners commited to raising money for various children's charities. This is an awesome group to become involved with. Boutique owners donate their time, materials & profits from sales during our launch dates to a variety of charities that help children in need.

I am also a very proud & active member of Soldiers' Angels. This group is not affiliated with eBay. If you would like to help support someone in our armed forces, regardless to their stature please go to http://www.soldiersangels.org/ for more information. This organization has many members who like myself, adopt someone in one of our military branches and send letters & care packages. Simply put: May no soldier go unloved is our motto. This includes all service men & women who are deployed. Our goal is to make 180,000 blankets to ship out to those deployed throughout this 2008 holiday season.
