Greetings from Memphis!

It is hard to believe I have been selling on eBay for a year and a half now and have had my store Ya'll Come Buy Goods Vintage to New for more than a year also. 

I have hundreds of items yet to list from my mother's home including vintage and retro items from the 1950's and 60's and 70's  and every other decade since mother was never known for getting rid of much if it was still useful.

My husband John  and I are both barbers and we collect barber memorabilia.  I am especially interested in  Victorian hairwork jewelry, also known as mourning jewelry and hairwork pictures. 

We have a karaoke machine and sing duets at nursing homes and for senior citizen groups.

Stanley our  blonde shih tzu dog which we adopted out of the rescue two years ago is our pride and joy and gives us unconditional love. 

I enjoy  traveling  in the USA and abroad and have been to ten countries --so far! My two favorites being New Zealand and Scotland.

Reading is my favorite pastime with my preference being  true stories about real people and their adventures but will pick up most any genre if it has a catchy title.  

The University of Memphis basketball Tigers are my main source of entertainment for part of the year.  GO TIGERS GO!!

I am a volunteer usher at our beautiful Orpheum Theatre for local events and touring Broadway shows. Musicals are my favorite but anything entertaining and funny  will do.  Traveling to New York City for plays , museums and art galleries is one of my favorite vacations but between visits this takes care of my theatre hunger pangs.

Old movies are the best in my opinion but a few recent ones captured my  attention. The movie "The Blind Side" is  special  because it is about Memphis.  It is a great human interest story and true.  Just recently I was an "extra" in a movie being filmed here called "The Grace Card" which will be coming to theatres next year. That was a really neat experience .

TV does not capture my attention much but I do love to watch "Antique Roadshow" for the information I glean from it. Since I am a trivia buff and information junkie I like "Jeopardy" and "Cash Cab" too.

Crocheting is one of my forms of relaxation and the other is listening to music, especially handbell choirs.
