Half the Sky Foundation

Who We Are:

 The mission of Half the Sky Foundation, which was created by parents of orphaned Chinese children, is to enrich the lives and enhance the prospects for the babies and children in China who still wait to be adopted, and for those who will spend their childhoods in orphanages. We establish early childhood education, personalized learning and infant nurture programs in Chinese welfare institutions to provide the children stimulation, individual attention, and an active learning environment.

What We Do:

 Half the Sky, (501c3 ID Number 94-4714047) has established programs in the following areas in China: Changzhou, Chengdu, Chenzhou, Chongqing, Chuzhou, Hefei, Shanghai, Shaoyang, Xiangtan, and Yueyang. More centers are scheduled to be built in the upcoming months.
