Hand Me Down Dobes



Hand Me Down Dobes is a non-profit group committed to saving homeless and abused Dobermans in Ohio and surrounding areas.  Hand Me Down Dobes is run by a group of dedicated unpaid volunteers.  We also work to educate the public about Dobermans and responsible, humane pet care, which includes spaying and neutering, and training.

The average cost of care for each dog far surpasses the adoption fee.  The added cost is paid for with donations,  grants, and fundraisers held throughout the year. 

Each dog is spayed or neutered, brought up to date on all necessary vaccinations, heartworm tested, is microchipped, and in some cases receives training..  Many need surgeries and extensive treatments for a variety of illnesses and injuries. 

Each dog is kept in a foster home for a minimum period of two weeks, and once it is determined to be ready for adoption it is matched with an approved home.

All proceeds from auctions held on this site go directly to help offset the cost of caring for our kids.
