We are a 3 person enterprise: 2 vivacious “Southern Sisters” Lucy Mae and Ida Fay, and our good natured and long suffering helper, Dub, who is Lucy’s husband. Lucy and Ida find and research the treasures, and Dub helps with all things “computer” and mailing.

Some people have asked us, “Are you twins?”

The answer is no, but our Mama gave us rhyming middle names. We were ALWAYS called by our double names. Lucy always wished her first name was short for something refined like “Lucinda” or “Lucille” and actually changed her middle name to “Mae” from “May”. She didn’t dare tamper with the Lucy part for fear of aggravating Mama.

So the answer to the above is no, we are not twins, but ladies of a ‘certain age’ who have made a pact not to reveal which one of us is the elder.

Ida Fay has always been the more adventurous, and was practically BORN with a love of horses and the lore of the Southwest. Perhaps this stems from a youthful experience as ‘Rodeo Queen’ in our south central Texas town. When her husband was transferred to a job in Phoenix, Arizona, she jumped at the chance. After Ida moved, Lucy Mae and Dub eventually drifted West.

What made us decide to sell on e-Bay?

At first it was a practical thing, since our many collections and love for antiques, collectibles, and interesting junque threatened to overwhelm our respective abodes. Along came the tv shows “Clean Sweep” and “Mission Organization”, which lit a fire under us, so to speak. But we also love to go to garage sales, estate sales and flea markets. The hunt for TREASURE is exciting! Once we tried selling on e-Bay and LOVED it, we quickly realized that now we could justify our ‘hobby’!!!

We are having so much fun! And we have something new planned. Ida Fay is going to have a section of “offerings” called ‘Wild Gals!’ This is because we keep finding jewelry and items that seem to call to Ida Fay. Some are downright eccentric, and some are dramatic, and all make a STATEMENT . So, be sure to keep an eye out…
