I mainly sell modern postcards (1970s-present), but on occasion I'll have some older cards available for sale. The majority of my postcard inventory is "uncommon" (sometimes extremely difficult to find), meaning you will be hard-pressed to find cards like mine from other sellers here on eBay or even elsewhere on the web. As a seller, I try my best to accurately describe the age, condition and subject matter of each postcard and I believe that my feedback reflects this. As a collector, I look for postcards featuring portraits or the work of my favorite artists and photographers, including Robert Doisneau, Eliott Erwitt and Keith Haring. My favorite subject matter involves love, hearts and kissing scenes, which make up the bulk of my collection. Other than that, as I'm sorting through postcards to keep or sell, certain images just make me smile or I'm drawn to them for some unknown reason. Over time I'll be adding my fave postcard images to flickr which can be viewed in the slideshow below. Cheers!
Other than postcards, my oldest hobby is learning foreign languages. The ones that I've studied for the longest time include Spanish (18 yrs), German (since 1997), Brazilian Portuguese (since 2001) and French (off and on for 18 years, but I've only taken 2 formal classes so I'm mostly self-taught). Currently, I'm attempting to learn spoken Ukrainian (been working on it since September '08 and it's kinda difficult!) and would like to study a Pacific island language (Fijian, Hawaiian, Samoan, etc.) or Japanese next.
